This letter is to thank you for all the fabulous support you’ve given me over the past two years. In 22 years of selling real estate here in the Saddleback Valley, I’ve met some good and well-intentioned title reps that were for the most part honest and sincere. They promised a lot of service that they could do for me. But 6 months to a year after committing my business to them, I rarely heard from them. Occasionally they would send a thank you note for some of the orders I’d send them, but they seemed more concerned with prospecting for new agents than in servicing their current clients.
When I first met you, you also seemed honest and sincere, but there was something different in your approach to the business. You were truly concerned with finding ways to help my business grow. You didn’t try to sell me on how much better you were or your company was than others. You just asked for a chance to prove yourself and demonstrate that it wasn’t about what you “could do” to help my business, but about what you “would do.” Since that first meeting you have come up with one good idea after another that has helped me better serve my clients, become more productive with my time and generate new sources of business.
Over the past two years, I’ve never had to wonder if my business is important to you. I know you need to keep prospecting for new clients, but you’ve never missed an opportunity to support me during the process. Your follow-up and dedication has been a model of consistency. Whenever I need your help you were always there with more service than the task required. I really appreciate your effort, but the best thing I can say about you as a title rep is that every one of my clients that have met you and received your help have been thrilled with your service.
There are real estate agents that view title reps as just “messengers” or “delivery people”, and if that’s all they need then any rep will do. But, if someone wants help in expanding their business or finding new ways to become more efficient with their time and energies----then Bill McConnell is the right man for the job. You have the perspective that if you work hard to increase my business, yours will increase as well.
I have complete trust in your word and your commitments. You’ve demonstrated over and over again that you care about my business and I’m happy to have you as my title rep and honored to have become your friend. It’s clear that you follow the “golden rule” and that your faith allows you to “go the extra mile” with confidence that your hard work will receive its reward. As the year 2005 comes to an end, I am reviewing the ups and downs of the year. I am looking at what accomplishments were made and what improvements are needed to make 2006 an even better year. I am also reviewing what companies I used and what ones I will continue to use.
This brings me to why I am sending you this letter. During escrow things happen that can really upset a client. When you have a strong rep on your side you can make the big things seem little and take the stress off your clients. Happy clients will be clients for life and will always tell their friends what a great transaction they had with their realtor. This is my goal with every client from one year to the next.
I used you and your Title Company for 90% of all my transactions in 2005. When a problem came up in escrow it was just a phone call away to being fixed. The customer service provided by you was fabulous. I could not have asked for better service. The comfort of knowing you were part of my team helped me sleep at night. When I was unable to use you for title and had to use another company, it never failed there would be issues that took days to resolve. I was used to being spoiled with a team that I could count on. I know I can count on you to be there for me, and when you don’t know the answer you always go out of your way to find it for me.
I like how you go out of your way to help keep me updated on what is going on in the market. Your new and creative ideas that have helped me prospect for future business. I feel we have made a great team and look forward to doing all my transaction with you in 2006.
